Cal Bingham is a designer based in Los Angeles, specializing in high-end residential work. Trained as an architect with a background in commercial photography, he brings a sensitivity to light, materiality, and the way spaces are experienced by the people who inhabit them.

His design philosophy is rooted in tectonic architecture; the belief that how a building is made should be legible in the final result, and that honest expression of structure and material creates spaces with lasting resonance. At the same time, he is equally driven by the human dimension of architecture: designing spaces that bring people together and support the fullness of daily life.

He holds a Master of Architecture degree from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and has worked across the full range of residential project types, from urban infill and lot subdivision to estate additions and interior conversions.
